How We Started...
I have been cleaning cars since mid 2006, when I worked at a used car dealership in Taylor, Michigan. From here I acquired a passion for cleaning cars, but never thought of taking it to the next level. In March of 2010, I decided to start this business in Auto Detailing because I enjoy doing it so much, and wanted to try my luck at entrepreneurship. It came with a lot of thought and planning, and came with some risk involved. I decided to specialize in Mobile Detailing, since there was a market for that kind of service in the area, and customers really like that their car can be cleaned anywhere, and not having to drop it off somewhere. I started out on a boot strap budget by a friend who bought me cleaning supplies to start, and then I detailed his car for free. I also distributed flyers and business cards around Marquette to get the word out about this new business. As time went on, people heard about my business and started calling in. One day a client contacted the local news station and told them about this great business start up in Marquette, that's when Good Looks Auto Detailing was then featured on WLUC TV6 News. This helped with letting more people know about my services and helped business grow. People have loved my quality of work that they personally recommended me to their friends and family.
